"As for the venue, it’s a beautiful space that very much continues the tradition Charlie Levy started with the opening of Crescent Ballroom in 2011, taking a historic building and completely rehabilitating the interior with an eye toward atmosphere to give the space its own distinctive character.
That’s how you make a concert venue something people talk about in ways that go beyond the favorite act they saw their first time there, from the chandeliers above the outer bar to Gary Patch's mural of the Arizona desert to those curved wrought-iron railings on the mezzanine. You'd never know that 20,000-square-foot building at the corner of Van Buren and Fourth Avenue once housed the Phoenix Motor Company unless you happened to have read that somewhere. Even the floor tiles had me sharing photographs on social media."
