One of the most beloved beatmakers of all time -  we're honouring five decades of Nujabes in his birthday month.

Hip-hop royalty alongside J Dilla in the pantheon of 20th-century beat producers, Nujabes work is renowned for his lush instrumentation and atmospheric beats which span not just hip-hop but nu-jazz, breakbeat, trip-hop and much more.

The evening will feature live renditions of his most iconic tracks, including favourites from Modal Soul, Metaphorical Music, and the beloved Samurai Champloo soundtrack, which will be brought to life by London's talented collective Stompy's Playground.
