Underground UK jazz pioneers Ruby Rushton are one of the leading and most forward-thinking bands to emerge from London’s thriving scene.
 
Their music incorporates the influence of jazz heroes like John Coltrane and Yusef Lateef whilst adopting inspiration from hip-hop, afrobeat, jazz-funk and the sounds of the UK underground.
 
As part of 22a, one of the UK’s most important and widely-respected independent labels, the Tenderlonious-led band are a crucial force in the London scene. Celebrating the label’s 10th anniversary, the crew come together in the lead-up to Christmas to showcase some of the finest sounds to come out of the City.
