A rare London show for Mexican Institute of Sound with a full live band, celebrating 20 years of invention.

Mexico City-based producer Camilo Lara, aka Mexican Institute of Sound, creates irresistible beats for the global dance floor. Cumbia is just one ingredient but its flavour rubs off on everything else in the mix.

His music has been featured in Narcos, Breaking Bad, Y tu Mamá También, Vacation Friends, Mosquito Coast, Californication and Ugly Betty, to name a few. He also hosts his own radio station, EastLos FM, on the best-selling game of all time: Grand Theft Auto V.

With artists including Metallica, Run the Jewels, Beck, Beastie Boys, Morrissey, Placebo, Interpol , Don Letts, Madness, Julieta Venegas, Tony Allen, Babasonicos, Hermitude, Amadou & Mariam, Sofi Tukker, and more commissioning remixes from Lara, his global appeal is undeniable.
