Live at the Barracks: Robert & the Pills + Support
Robert & The Pills were initially formed to play Robert’s music live, but they have morphed into something special. They are a six piece, consisting of Robert on vocal duty, a keyboardist, a saxophonist, a bassist, a guitarist and a drummer.
Robert was recently signed to False Idols, a record label owned by Mercury Prize nominated Tricky of Massive Attack fame, with a release due in the summer. The album features work from Grammy nominated and 2 x mercury prize winner, John Parish (PJ Harvey), Billy Woods, Roc Marciano, Tricky and others. The album is a collaboration with The Purist (Danny Brown, MF Doom, Jay Electronica and Loyle Carner). Robert's precvious album was played on BBC radio 1 and 6 by Giles Peterson and Huey Morgan and featured Rag’n’Bone Man, Sleaford Mods, Soweto Kinch, Atmosphere and others.

Each week Patchwork Studios host the best local live music and DJs. Whether it be the Thursday night Candlelit Sessions or the more rambunctious Saturday Night events, we no doubt we have something for you. No genre is off limits with previous acts ranging from Acoustic to Ska, Disco, Electronic, Psychedelic… you name it, it’s all good stuff and well worth a look see.

Our Tavern within the venue is open until late, dishing out all the finest local tipples to keep you hydrated, plus Garrison Gallery will be serving up a storm of cocktails within their magical art-adorned walls next door. Oscallys Food Wagon will be cooking up top homemade scran to keep your bellies full until 9pm over by the campsite entrance, and The Canteen opens at 9:30am for coffee and breakfast.
