The Shelter, Aerhart, Blue Yonder
$10.00
The Shelter began its first tour as the opening act for Mexican bands Say Ocean and Beta on 10 cities in the Mexican Republic. After this, the band went into the studio to write, record and produce what would be their first studio album. Along with this, The Shelter was invited to the tour of the Monterrey band SERBIA, along with performing private shows, and being on festivals such as the Tecate Location in Tuxtla Gutiérrez and the acclaimed Hell and Heaven 2022 metal festival.
Aerhart is the project of Brooklyn-based vocalist, songwriter and burgeoning producer Amelia Wellers. Her debut work, WALLFLOWER, was self-released as a full-length LP on October 22, of 2021. Aerhart's agile and resonant voice weaves together her tightly structured songs of longing with uniquely grounding soundscapes, transporting us to the subliminal and leaving us with a record that has been likened to “whatever they play in the Vatican but heavily electrocuted.” For fans of Joni Mitchell, with overtones of My Brightest Diamond, Mitski, Radiohead, Zola Jesus, Florence and the Machines, and Weyes Blood.
Blue Yonder created in 2020, a bandemic if you will, Blue Yonder formed during the Covid Lockdown out of musical necessity. DJ O’loane (producer, lead guitar, bass, backup vocals) and Lena Fjortoft (vocals, guitar, songwriter) met in 2014 at college orientation in New Orleans and bonded over bands such as Yes, Love and Graham Parsons. Six years later, they found themselves, alone again, in New York City in the midst of a global pandemic and created a unique, psychedelic, country sound. Dalton Patton, prolific drummer and friend, joined shortly after and the rest is history. Joined by Kelsea Feder on keys and David Theisen on bass and ready to rock n roll.
