Earl Yellow, The Rikkies, Pop Alma
$7.00
Earl Yellow is a non-binary/queer led indie alt (bordering on folk sometimes?) band based in Brooklyn, New York. Self-reportedly sort of most similar to Snail Mail, EY has a totally unique sound, different from any other band out there. They hope you enjoy their soothing sounds and super gay lyrics.
the Rikkies are a band of six young professionals rocking around New York City! The band plays alternative/classic rock, jazz, pop, and country covers that get the crowd jumping, fist pumping, and singing their hearts out. We will have original music on the way shortly!
Pop Alma Pop Alma began in New Jersey originating as a solo effort. Jacob Rubiani recruited a few friends to join what would eventually form into the band in 2017. These two, with a few friends, compiled a few songs that would eventually become the debut EP, SOMA. Their latest effort, Tales of a Hopeless Romantic, is a first in many aspects. This project tells a tale of love, and love lost, through many different musical stylings. The songs off of this record are heavily influenced by bands such as Waterparks and My Chemical Romance while also pulling attributes from more synth oriented bands such as The Neighborhood and The 1975. To round out the sound, influences of R&B and Hip Hop sprinkle the top to create the unique sound of this act. Pop Alma is for the kids in the back of the classroom who feel like nobody understands them. Pop Alma is for the people who can’t find the words to express how they feel when words are lost to them. Pop Alma is for you, as much as it is for us.
