Troubadour Presents Marianne Leigh 'I Don't Care' Single Release Show' + Alison Merchant + Pea Floom + Rosie Webb
Dreamy pop-rock artist Marianne Leigh writes about the growing pains of adolescence in her confessional tunes. Leigh’s narrative songwriting style sets the 20-year-old apart from her peers, her “authenticity beaming through her connection, vast musical space and raw artistry” - NZ Musician Magazine.
Marianne Leigh takes the stage for her debut London headline show at Troubadour on June 28th. Supporting the show are local acts Marchant, peafloom, and Rosie Webb.
Prior to Marianne’s big move from New Zealand to London to pursue music, she released her sophomore EP, 'simple things', performed a headlined tour around New Zealand twice, was interviewed and playlisted on Australian radio, and had her music feature on Air New Zealand flights across the globe. In addition to ranking in the Top 50 tracks on Australian radio, Leigh has been mentored by New Zealand’s biggest stars, working alongside Jamie McDell and platinum artist Bic Runga.
The latest star on the 5 Minutes of Fame TV Show and guest on New Zealand's leading radio station RNZ, Leigh is carving her unique place in the music industry.
