The hip hop artist, academic and political campaigner has worked with everyone, from Immortal Technique, Wretch 32 and Akala to Dead Prez and Outlawz. He is part of the super group Mongrel alongside members of the Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles and Reverend And The Makers.
His independently released album Soundtrack to the Struggle (2011) charted in the UK and remains an underground classic to this day with plaudits ranging from Chuck D to Stormzy. His most recent album Soundtrack to the Struggle 2 featured Noam Chomsky, Frankie Boyle and Ken Loach alongside musicians like Maverick Sabre and has been streamed millions of times.
His forthcoming projects promise to break further ground for independent political music.
He comes to Manchester for a one-off special running down anthems from both albums.
Plus Chifa in support.
