Take Me Out: Y2K Indie Sleaze Dance (Rock) Party at Sneaky Dee's
CAD5.00 - CAD15.00
On Saturday August 27th, we're bringing the vibes of the 2000s hipster-glam party scene of LA and New York to Sneaky Dee's. We're doing this by hosting an after party for legendary party photographer, Mark Hunter AKA The Cobrasnake and dancing to indie rock n' roll all night long. And of course, you're invited!
Featuring the music of: The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Killers, Modest Mouse, The White Stripes, Phoenix, Arcade Fire, LCD SoundSystem, Tegan And Sara, The Stills, The Ting Tings, The Postal Service, Metric, Interpol, Bloc Party, Peter Bjorn And John, MGMT + MORE
Indie Sleaze Style: Thick-framed plastic fashion glasses, tights with holes, blazers over tee shirts, runny eyeliner, scarves for absolutely no reason, circulation-cutting skinny jeans, trucker hats and bright coloured hoodies.
Dressing up is encouraged but never mandatory. Early bird tickets are just 5$. Get yours before they're gone. See you there!

MARK HUNTER AKA THE COBRASNAKE
Armed with just a Polaroid and a primitive website, legendary photographer Mark Hunter, aka The Cobrasnake, captured the party scenes of Los Angeles and New York during the hipster-glam heyday of the 2000s—and in doing so defined the look of a generation.
