London’s hottest record label, Rhythm Section, is back and this time brings us a plateau of talented young artists who have been conquering all corners of the global underground music scene.
Well versed in poetry and performance, Allysha Joy’s potent lyricism, unique musicianship & killer vocals have garnered legions of attentive fans the world over. She’s an integral member of the Melbourne soul jazz scene, known as part of the acclaimed 30/70 Collective & for her own equally revered solo work.
Joining the Australian vocal powerhouse is Loshh, the Dutch/Nigerian musician whose work incorporates influences from Juju and Gospel sounds. Loshh's music reminds marginalised people of the power of joy and spirit.
The final artist joining this talented bill is Setwun, the musical brainchild of composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ, Josh Panakera-Molony. Already a much respected figure on Eora (Sydney)’s underground scene, the hype for those on the outside has been bubbling with every small offering and tip-offs from some of the world’s most revered.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a Rhythm Section party without label head, Bradley Zero, hosting the night along with intermittent DJ sets throughout.
