GAA Museum presents
Hurloween at the GAA Museum
EUR0.00 - EUR59.75
Instead of ghouls, we’ll be talking goals in Croke Park this Halloween on our brand new ‘Hurloween’ tours!
The GAA museum is excited to announce the return of our family events with these brand-new tours where GAA-mad kids can learn more about Ireland’s ancient sport from the time of Setanta right up to the era of Cian Lynch!
‘Hurloween’ Tours are suitable for children aged between five and 12 accompanied by an adult. Tours include a visit to the Croke Park dressing rooms and a walk pitchside where our guides will teach you more about the history and skill of hurling and camogie.
The trip also includes a ‘Warriors and Hurlers Workshop’ where younger visitors will learn more about the story of Setanta, a master hurler who used his sliotar and camán to slay the hound of Chulainn and receive the new name Cú Chulainn!
Everyone on tour will have a chance to visit the re-opened and revamped GAA Museum, and every child on tour will receive a book telling the story of Setanta and other Irish legends – the perfect Halloween treat!
Tours take place at 10.00, 12.00 and 14.00 from Tuesday October 26th to Saturday October 30th. All tickets must be pre-booked online in advance and visitors must read the GAA Museum Covid-19 safety guidelines at www.crokepark.ie/gaamuseum in advance of travelling to Croke Park.
In line with Government entry requirements, all attendees over 18 must have proof of full vaccination or recovery from Covid-19 in the past six months along with photo ID. Both EU Digital Covid Certificates or full HSE Covid-19 Vaccination Record will be accepted.
For those attending from outside the Republic of Ireland, official NHS or other international proof of full vaccination will be accepted when accompanied by photo ID.
Ticketholders aged under 18 who are accompanying adult ticketholders do not need proof of vaccination or recovery.
In line with current Government requirements a negative PCR or antigen test is not accepted for entry at present.
Masks are mandatory at all times while indoors. Children under the age of 13 are not required to wear masks. GAA Museum staff will wear masks at all times.
