Glenfiddich Piping Championship 2021
The Glenfiddich Piping Championship was established in 1974 to inspire the world's finest exponents of Ceol Mor or Piobaireachd (The Great Music) and Ceol Beag or light music (the little music). The event is held annually at Blair Castle in Blair Atholl, Perthshire. Each year, 10 competitors qualify to play at this prestigious event through placing in one of a series of qualifying events. This year's competitors are:
Stuart Liddell (2020 Champion), Callum Beaumont, Glenn Brown, Finlay Johnston, Jack Lee, Angus MacColl, Willie McCallum, Roddy MacLeod MBE, Connor Sinclair and Iain Speirs.
The Competition takes place on Saturday 30th October 2021, commencing promptly at 10am.
Following the competition, the annual Pipers' Ceilidh will take place in the Atholl Palace Hotel, Pitlochry, with a limited number of tickets for this also available for purchase, along with competition tickets.
