OKTOBERFEST SOUTH LONDON RETURNS TO ELECTRIC BRIXTON FOR A SERIES OF CELEBRATIONS ACROSS OCTOBER 2021
Live comedians, brass bands and DJs will fill the day’s with entertainment whilst Spaten, Löwenbräu & Becks will ensure your stein’s are always fulll. Bratwursts & Bangers act as the exclusive food partner serving a traditional Bavarian street food menu.
After a year’s break due to the pandemic, South London’s biggest Oktoberfest celebrations are back in the heart of Brixton and taking place on Saturday 2nd, 16th and 23rd of October 2021.
The festivities will run from 1pm - 8pm each day and welcome up to 4,200 tickets holders over the three separate events (subject to government regulations, ensuring the safety of all patrons comes first).
The iconic Electric Brixton will be transformed into an all singing, all dancing Bavarian beer hall complete with long wooden tables and bunting, fit for a decadent bohemian party. London’s own Bratwurst & Bangers will provide the iconic sausages bringing home the authentic south german taste serving up some of the best wurst they have to offer. Alongside excessive beers and endless delicious sausage, attendees to Oktoberfest South London can expect live music from German Jukebox live 5-piece brass band, keeping the classic oompah favourites rolling throughout the day. DJs across the events include DJ Danny Vito, and will keep the soiree running into the evening. Between sets punters can expect up and coming comedians keeping the giggles rolling throughout.
As any Oktoberfest veteran knows, it wouldn’t be complete without waitresses and waiters dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen keeping all steins filled to the brim throughout the days of indulgence. The highly regarded beers flying over from Germany are supplied by Spaten, Löwenbräu & Becks all served in the renowned glass stein to all.
Expect wurst shipped straight from the Black Forest in Southern Germany in many delicious forms from our caterers Bratwursts & Bangers, including the impeccable Currywurst and Brotzel (pretzel alternatives), schnitzel sandwiches and sides brot and paprika spiced fries.
German Jukebox are a 5-Piece oompah & roaming band starting parties around the world, working with the UK’s no.1 Oktoberfest host Eva Von Schnippisch whose quick wit and delightful dominance will turn any rowdy crowdy into a pretzel putty.
Electric Brixton boasts an amazing stage with unsurpassed sightlines making it the perfect venue for large scale events for three weekends. Brixton’s largest Oktoberfest will take over the event space running from 1pm - 8pm. Ticket holders are advised to arrive by 3pm.
