Shooting Stars by Roza Yarchun-Sullivan - All Ages, FREE, 3:00 pm doors
Shooting Stars Photography Exhibit, 2/23 from 3-5pm, Middle East Restaurant; Hors D'Oeuvres and Meet the Artist!: NOT to be missed! FREE and open to the public!
We are delighted to showcase Roza Yarchun-Sullivan at the Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub on 2/23 from 3pm to 5pm. She has 22 of her original photography works hanging in both sides of the Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub. Tom Tipton and I were delighted to spend time with lovely Roza and her husband, and we truly feel that you will be compelled by her multilayered, heartfelt artistic command. We can honestly state that Roza is passionate about musicians and photography, and her luminous works are on sale throughout the next month. Please find, in the discussion section of this event page, some of my favorites that recently line the Middle East walls.
Artist Statement:
When I was a young, under-age high school student, I used to almost hang from the rafters of Kenmore Square to get a shot of performers I loved. Being able to capture the emotion of the moment, the image of what I wanted to take away as a memory. Each concert is a new and exciting opportunity to experience the artist through the lens of my camera.
I am married to rock critic Jim Sullivan and I often have my work published with his reviews or featured in the Cape Cod Times and Best Classic Bands. These are some of my moments shooting rock stars over the past few years.
