Rashad Bashir Bio
Rashad Bashir was born on April 17, 1988 in the Bronx. As a kid growing up, he had no filter and was easy to prank, which made him the butt of every joke in school. Rashad knew the only way to gain popularity and respect was to be the funny guy. At age 15, he did his first stand-up routine at his High School Valentines Day Talent Show. All of his material was observational, impulsive, and the blueprint for his current style.
Rashad has a high energy, crowd engaging style of comedy. His balance of crowd work, act outs, improv skills, and relatable written material, make for a great performance by the young comedian. His comedy influences include (in no particular order) Tony Roberts, Mike Epps, Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, Katt Williams, D.L. Hughley, Bernie Mac, Chris Tucker, Arnez J, and Chris Rock. Rashad has been featured on Wendy Williams on Fox, BET Top Five, BRIC TV, and MNN. He is also in the upcoming film "And There Were Four”.
Wherever he is, whoever he is around, his goal is to make people laugh and feel better about their day in that brief moment. Because for Rashad, Every Laugh Matters. Rashad is on all social media platforms @rbashir_oms
