This year has been defined by courageous acts of resistance from women across this country: from marches, to calls and visits to congress, to exposing sexual assault, and well beyond. To celebrate the badass women making their voices heard and to gear up for the fight ahead, Art, Humanity & Action: We Persist brings together NYC’s favorite female storytellers for a night of uplifting, inspiring, funny personal stories and songs about persistence. Plus, speakers and stories from local, women-led organizations about ways to get involved and elect more women to office in 2018.

About ART, HUMANITY & ACTION:
Born in response to the 2016 election, Art, Humanity & Action is a series that unites storytelling, social justice, and fundraising. The first annual Art, Humanity & Action event was hosted at the LGBT Center in December 2016, featuring 15 storytellers and speakers from Planned Parenthood, the Muslim Community Network, and Showing Up for Racial Justice; with over $1,000 raised for the Anti-Violence Project. Art, Humanity & Action is produced and organized by Nicole Ferraro, with immense help from Asher Novek, Sandi Marx & Jeff Rose.
