“Roemen and The Whereabouts have been playing retro Soul and Motown in the PNW since 2012. Having played in other various groups, the four members of the Whereabouts came together looking for a challenge. Inspired by the untouchable talent of the artists and musicians who came out of Motown, Stax, and Muscle Shoals, the Whereabouts worked to recreate live that which is arguably some of the best songwriting and most emotional performances ever recorded. With 4-part harmonies and a minimal-yet-full sound, a night with the Whereabouts is a trip back in time, back to when music made you dance!”
"Polished chrome. Clangin’ guitars. Sneering lips. Pompadours! Tyler Hamilton grew up listening to rock 'n roll in and around Seattle. In that time, he’s explored the inner workings of songs and guitars, amps and classic cars! Drawn to the intoxicating heartache that was so apparent in the music of Roy Orbison, Chris Isaak, and Bruce Springsteen, Tyler developed a timeless style that echoes the Americana of yesteryear. This year was the release of his first full length record “Movin’ On”, a collection of songs written over the last several years that finally made their way into the studio. Check out the latest music video for his song “Is It Love” from the new album--a sad banger through and through.”
"Peter (Donovan) is an astute musical storyteller. His perceptive songs span genres and feature narratives based on both real-life and fictitious characters, written with a contemplative heart. With his debut album, This Better Be Good, Donovan spreads his wings, combining the plaintive soul of indie rock, the heartfelt sincerity of Americana, and the stirring studio pageantry of ‘70s singer-songwriters, drawing them together to explore more intimate depths.”
