The Boise Pride Prom is a Boise Pride Fest event celebrating Idaho's youth of all sexual orientations and gender identities, and their allies. In its 5th year, Pride Prom is an open and safe space to have fun and be true to you.
Our theme this year is Dancing Through the Decades! Boise Pride Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary! 2019 is also the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots that began the LGBTQ movement we know today.
This year, our entertainment is none other than Gia Gunn, queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 and All-Stars 4! Gia is RuPaul's Drag Race's third transgender contestant to compete on the show! Before competing on All-Stars 4 this year, she was in various music videos with queens like Alaska and other Drag Race alumni, and is a frequent guest of WOW Presents' YouTube series.
She's known for many memorable moments on the show (and memes over the years!) like "I'm feeling my oats, let me feel my ooooooooats!"
Gia came out as transgender on Transgender Day of Visibility 2017 and has grown more involved in activism for the community and for queer youth events! We are so thrilled to have her for our event this year!
The Diversity Prom is open to ages 14-18. Ticket includes entertainment, food, and beverages.
Event Start Time 6:00PM
Event End Time 11:30PM
Event Ages: 14-18
Ticket Cost: $10 plus ticketing fees
